  This is the second year we've had our boys at this school. What an amazing experience! A little background: we homeschooled our boys through elementary school, then placed them in a competing private school for their first year of middle school. While my boys did well academically at the other school, they were bored and bullied on a daily basis. We put them in Peace Lutheran School the following year.
  
  During the first couple weeks of the first year they attended PLS, my younger son’s teacher immediately recognized that Math was too easy for him, and had him tested and bumped up a level to give him more of a challenge. My older son, who was the target of the bullying at his former school, thrived and made friends that he will have for a life time. They both made As and Bs every single report card.
  
  The school has a very affordable dress code (denim/khaki/navy pants/shorts and a plain polo shirt). They offer scholarships to those who need it, making a private school education affordable for everyone.
  
  One of my favorite things about this school is that ALL AGES get two outdoor recess times per day. They also have a soccer team and a basketball team. This year, as the first day of school approached, both of my boys were getting excited to go back to school and see their friends and teachers again. That has never happened before.
  
  We value the relationships we’ve formed with the teachers and the other PLS families, and hope to continue on through high school with PLS. We highly recommend this school! They offer grades PK-9th Grade so far.
